Recent sales and enquiries at our Gympie real estate office indicate that the most popular size for Gympie and Southside residential land during the past 2 to 3 years has been for 1000 to 2000 square metre blocks on the Southside.

Good quality lots of this size are currently very scarce due to the recent real estate boom nationwide. New subdivisions that have been developed over the past 18 months have sold out quickly and there are very few new ones coming onto the market at the moment so a shortage of good quality lots is again beginning to occur. Current prices range from $90,000 to $130,000. 

In the Gympie city area fully serviced housing blocks in the 600 to 800 square metre size range in the city area are also in scarce supply. There are some new developments coming on stream and prices for these types of lots start at around $90,000.
